Welcome!

Hi I’m Dee I’m 53 an ex model and now a personal trainer.
I like to feel and look the best that I can now that I am middle aged.
I really want to help others who are also going through the challenges of mid life be healthy, confident and look amazing.

The idea for this website came to me when I was going through uncomfortable menopausal symptoms, I searched endlessly for a site I could relate to with information to help me at this time of my life and I couldn’t find what was appropriate for me.

I fought my symptoms with my knowledge about exercise and diet and adapted them for how I was feeling during this time. I knew I could feel good again and stop the weight gain, lack of energy, mood swings, depression and low self esteem that had already begun to affect me. After all menopause is just puberty in reverse!

The changes I made worked for me and I am now in a place where I feel great and am happier in my own skin and body more than I ever was before. I have my fair share of dodgy bits, but having lived over half a century that’s to be expected.
The best thing is I gladly accept them now and I am just truly grateful to be here and healthy.

I love the fact that in my fifties I can still rock my bikini if I want to and feel happy doing it. Fifdee is about sharing how I got to the good place where I am today and helping you to feel good and look great in your 40’s, 50’s and beyond.

Train With Me

I exercised since my early twenties and I used to sometimes spend hours in the gym and didn’t really get the results I wanted. Now in my fifties I have found a way to train that doesn’t take very long, can be done at home a lot of the time and most importantly get the best results I have ever had.

I would never have thought that I could be more body confident now than in my twenties but I have managed it Of course diet does plays a major part, but the way in which I eat now I don’t feel deprived and still get the big boy portions I like.
